Lara Yeager-Crasselt, interim curator of paintings and sculpture at the Clark and author of Michael Sweerts (1618-1664): Shaping the Artist and the Academy in Rome and Brussels, retraces the rich and varied career of one of the most fascinating and enigmatic artists of the seventeenth century.

The talk for Clark members will take place at The Explorers Club in New York. It will be preceded by a reception at 6:30 pm hosted by the Clark and the General Representation of the Government of Flanders.
