Forlana Consort was founded in June 2001 and is under the direction of Wouter Bossaer. It specializes in vocal music from the late middle ages and the renaissance era. In the past, Forlana has performed at church ceremonies, at july 11th celebrations in Washington, in the Basilica of the National Shrine, at Christ Church in Alexandria and Grace Church of Brooklyn Heights, the Corcoran Museum in Washington, the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, the NATO in Ghent, Norfolk, and at the memorial site of Ground Zero in New York.
