REDISCOVERING OLD MASTER PAINTINGS: PEASANTS, KITCHENMAIDS, AND CHILDREN

Thursday, February 23, 2017 - 5:00am

This series of curator-led gallery talks takes a closer look at Old Master paintings in the permanent collection. Shedding new light on the Clark’s important Renaissance and Baroque works of art, Interim Curator of Paintings and Sculpture Lara Yeager-Crasselt will share recent discoveries, consider the works in the artistic and cultural contexts in which they were made, and encourage fresh perspectives on paintings across the collection. Each talk in this six-part series will focus on a different topic.

Additional talks in this series will be scheduled through June.
Space limited; reservations required.
