10th Anniversary Season Opener: Postcards from Italy
Chamber Orchestra of New York opens its 10th anniversary season with Postcards from Italy. Music Director Salvatore Di Vittorio conducts Rossini's Barber of Seville: Overture, Verdi's La Traviata: Prelude to Act 1, and Mendelssohn's Italian Symphony. American violinist Elena Urioste performs Respighi's first Violin Concerto, alongside premieres of Di Vittorio's Palermo Overture and Brosse's setting of Pictures at an Exhibition.
