
Launch of AFS intercultural programme: The Volunteers
Please join us in celebrating the launch of a unique and relevant curriculum about U.S. American volunteers in World War I and how volunteerism is a key component of global competence and active citizenship education today. These free secondary school lesson plans explore why people volunteer, examine characteristics of humanitarian organizations, and encourage young people to consider volunteering today.

The Volunteers: Americans Join World War I, 1914-1919 Curriculum Committee Member.
The presentation will be followed by a Q&A and a reception.
