This special event centers on the visit to the United States by European playwright and actress Jessa Wildemeersch, who is launching the JessaProject campaign for the 2016-18 production and International tour of the Internationally acclaimed stage play Days Without Dates.
The Belgian-born actress will share how she overcame tough professional and personal challenges (like being trapped under the Hudson River on 9/11) in creating the now-acclaimed Days Without Dates multi-media theatre production.
Days Without Dates offers a shared experience to overcome individual and collective trauma’s caused by endless conflicts and war from WWI up to today.
You will discover the inside story of how Days Without Dates evolved from a simple idea to an acclaimed international stage presentation and see excerpts from the play. Wildemeersch will answer your questions, too. About the Days Without Dates production. About the value that this theatre creates for society. About the value to business as well as governments when they team with performing artists to bring this remarkable form of artistry to actual audiences.
