De Buck Gallery is pleased to announce an upcoming solo exhibition by Belgian painter Cindy Wright. The exhibition, entitled Glamoured by Decay, marks Wright’s debut at the gallery and will be on view from January 14 to February 20, 2016. An opening reception in the presence of the artists is scheduled for January 14 from 6-8 PM.

Cindy Wright was born in Herentals, Belgium in 1972. She holds an MFA in painting from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, and was awarded a postgraduate laureate by the Higher Institute for Fine Arts (Antwerp) in 2006. Wright’s work has been exhibited worldwide, including in exhibitions at the Las Vegas Art Museum, the Musee des Arts Decoratifs (Paris), the Museum van Elsene (Brussels), and the Torrance Art Museum (Torrance, CA). Her work is also included in the permanent collections of the Museum van Elsene (Brussels), the Museum of Contemporary Art (San Diego), the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (Madison, WI), and the National Bank of Belgium, among others. Wright currently lives and works in Antwerp.
